Learning to Swim is one of life’s most rewarding and important experiences. In addition to the safety benefits of water skills, swimming ability will enhance a child’s self esteem, build self-confidence, and set him or her on a path of lifetime mental and physical well-being.
Our Program Works because we use a psychological approach that helps each child to overcome his/her fears and to gain a confidence that will be the foundation for a lifelong love of the water. Every swim school teaches skills; we instill the courage and desire to use those skills. Whether your child is new to the water, fearful, or has been unsuccessful elsewhere, we achieve extraordinary results in a very short period of time.
1984 Olympic Gold Medal Swimmer Mike O’Brien has spent his lifetime in and around the water as a competitor, instructor, and father. In teaching your child to swim, he uses the Mosi Method™ an effective and positive approach that has proven successful for many years. During the last 17 years over 11,000 children have learned to swim in our program using this proven method.
I would like to thank you for the great experience Lauren had with her swim lessons with you. It is truly inspiring to see a world class athlete teach our child such an important lifetime skill in such a patient, informative, and empowering manner...

I just wanted to let you both know how pleased Mike and I are with Lukas' swimming abilities (and confidence level) after his classes. It was tough at first, but the results are amazing and so worth it. He was not even interested in learning to swim before and now swims like a fish ;) Thanks for the great "positive" experience.
Erika, Newport Beach
Our older two went through the class 2 years ago, kicking and screaming like they were dying the first few days. We were sure they were going to be drop outs. HAHA! But after the 2 weeks they had it down and we literally went to the pool every day for 5 months after that to keep it up. Now they are (almost) 7 and swimming is one of their favorite activites...

Thank you! We are excited at the prospect of next spring's classes. (Our son's) experience was indeed fruitful, his confidence skyrocketed, as did his capacity. We are thrilled to have the benefit of your program and this wonderful foundation to build upon. Thank you for your uncompromising commitment to teaching children to swim.
Tiffany, Laguna Beach
I just want to tell you what a great experience we have had so far this year with Mike. I am so impressed with his method and I wanted to say I am happy to be a reference for prospective parents any time you need one. We can’t wait to participate again next year!
Alison, Irvine
I Just wanted to say thanks again for all of your patience with Leah while learning to swim. As a celebration of her last swim lesson, after class today we went swimming with a friend. After more than a half hour...I tell her that she needs to stop because she must be getting tired. Leah turned around and said, "but mommy, I WANT to swim"...
Dawn, Placentia
To Mike,
I use to be afraid to swim. But you helped me, and now I'm not afraid. Now I really love to swim this year. God Bless You!
Love, Alexa (Irvine)
Dear Coach Mike,
I love you. I just had to tell you that. I can swim the whole way across my Papa's pool. My sister Emma will want to swim with you next year. She is so excited, but she is too little now.
Lindley Kate (Dana Point)
Dear Coach Mike,
I can swim all day if I could!
Ashley (Irvine)
Dear Coach Mike,
I like swimming lessons with you. I like going under water.

Thank you for teaching me how to be a stronger swimmer. I learned a lot from you. I hope I will see you next summer for more swim lessons.
